The Concept for a cool tan
Social convention or self-consciousness can often mean that going topless to achieve a cool tan all-over tan is not an option.
Although tan-through technology has previously been available, it has never been successfully combined with stylish design to appeal to a more discerning consumer - that is until now.
The unique fabric used in PW Polos™ incorporates a filter which absorbs the majority of the harmful UVB rays, but allows the transmission of approximately thirty to forty per cent of the tanning UVA rays through to the skin’s surface (approximately equivalent to UPF9).
This is achieved through a combination of the knit construction, finishing process and fabric weight. This technology is unique and goes into every Patrice Wheeler Polo Shirt.
